interesting backstories!! definitely added layers to the original trilogy. After reading this, I do wish that Alodia had played a bigger role in the original series.

I’m such a HUGE fan of Girl of Fire and Thorns and had no idea that Rae Carson released this book! It did take me a bit to remember the universe (because I last read the series in 2015) but fell back into it so easily! The writing flows well and picks up pace super well.
I also love the extra character development that this book gives! I wish we could have more! But yes def recommend this entire series as a whole.
