Ugh! What can I say.....I ADORED this!

It was simple, straight to the point and adorable in a dozen different ways. I loved the characters, Lincoln and Cabe, and would love to read more about them. I love the hesitations, the uncertainties, the progression of their relationship and how impossible and silly they find it, to fall so hard for each other, so quickly.

It's realistic, loveable and there isn't one thing that I don't like about it. I even love the whole discussion about having no 'supplies' in the apartment, how they both talk, frequently, about their exes and how it's affected them. Too many authors try to have their characters move on from an ex, without admitting that their ex screwed them up and that it's going to affect their relationship.

A sweet short read that I wanted more from.
I believe Gabe and Lincoln are off to a good start. I would have loved to follow them a bit longer to see how things develop. I mean the whole story only spans a little more than 48 hours.

I would have wanted more of a closure on their past relationships. It seemed to me that even if some time had passed the wounds were still raw. I also wondered what was up with their respective families.

In short. The story was good enough to meek me care and want more.

I don't normally like novellas but this had a lot of interesting things in it.
For me, it wasn't as rushed as others.

I loved the characters, kinda liked the plot, too (even though, of course, since it's a novella, you don't get much details).

So all in all, this would definitely deserve a better rating here on Goodreads ;)

A sweet 'ish' M/M romance, engaging characters but I would have like a little more graphic descriptions.

Ok but not great

It was ok and enjoyable but not great. The writing was good, and there was a storyline so that worked, but it needed to be longer and go into a bit more depth.

I like Lincoln even though he was secretive about his past and it made it harder to get to know him. Gabe felt more open
But that being said, the story takes place over two days, so I wouldn’t expect Lincoln to open up quickly and dish any information about his past if it was painful in that time frame.

So I think the timeframe of the book hurt it a bit. The fact that he moves on and is ready for a relationship feels a bit quick to be honest.

Short and sweet. This freebie is low on the angst, big on the steam and a very delightful read for in between. Two strangers that meet, like and get more than they thought. Definitely recommended if you're looking for something easy on the heart, that's not too deep.
