More like a 3.9 but I'm rounding up out of respect. Review to come!

The middle section about her romantic life was fantastic. The final third, with her working at the New York Times felt aimless and was boring.

I’ve been reading this on and off for a while. I got this book after listening to the author do a reading a few years back and finally got around to it, and it was totally worth it. There’s a lot I could relate to especially the experience of learning English with Latinx parents and the figuring out a queer identity. It’s definitely a book that’s going to stay in my favorite books shelf
