I enjoyed the first book in the series, but this second book I don't know it didn't really keep me intrigued. It felt very boring and just not interesting. I will read the third book because my boyfriends bought if for me and I have it on my bookshelf. Plus the series isn't complete till I read the 3rd book. I liked the characters in the books but the book itself was eh. When I read the first book in the series I could not put that book down and I loved it. I felt like this book was repetitive and I also feel like the third book will be repetitive as well. I felt like this book was just dragging on and on. I should have DNF'D the book but I didn't and I am glad I finished the book but oh my goodness. This book was also very long it was 400 pages, I know there are books that are longer but when you are not enjoying a book, it just feels 10 times longer than normal.

Loved this sequel though after noticing Finn sounded more like a 6 year old than an 8 year old in the first book, it started to annoy me a bit in this sequel. Luckily after the story picked up the pace, my attention was drawn away from it.
