Cute and fluffy. Not quite what I expected but guess I wouldn't mind reading more.

Just a delightful book! Interesting story, great characters, fun inner & outer dialogue. The witchcraft is more of a setting than a significant plot point in this series (that is, a very similar story could have been told using racial/cultural/economic disparities instead).
Ann Aguirre is so talented at demonstrating how enthusiastic consent can be hot, and how to communicate through other relationship challenges. While it can be read as a stand alone, I very much recommend reading book 2 of this series as well – as a pair they are BRILLIANT.

Cute but I was expecting something more. It didn't blow my mind but it was a very fun read and I'm sure I'll go back and re-read some parts and highlighted fragments eventually!

I thought the story was fun! There’s a lot going on, but at the same time it just feels like you’re dipping your toe into a world just beyond our own, and I assume it’s setting up some plot points for other books. Just a fun, witchy romance.

🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️!
I didn’t realize that this book was going to have that level of spice in it!
Great, quick read for the spring time that really got me into the mood to read some more romances in the near future.
Danica is a cute witch who ends up not telling the man she falls in love with, Titus, that she’s a witch. I would’ve assumed that somewhere along the line. He would’ve figured it out, but that’s OK.
Dan is a very lovable character as well as Titus. When I first started the book the first few chapters left me feeling pretty black. There wasn’t much going on didn’t really catch my attention after the first several chapters. I really got the hang of it to thoroughly love , everything about these characters. The only thing that didn’t feel very believable was that Titus, who is in his 30s, was still virgin.
As I said above, this book does have some spice to it; nothing outrageously crazy though keep that in mind lol! But it is definitely a 3🌶️
