I’ll be honest this book wasn’t as good as the first one but it was still quite enjoyable.
I did not like the big trope that was in this book. That’s probably my number one reason.
Also, the characters of War and Miriam were not as well written as Pestilence and Sara. But I was happy to hear from P and S a little.
The last plot twist was not really a plot twist at all since these men were already horrible.
Also, I just can’t imagine loving someone who killed off cities/ thousands if not millions of innocents.
I’m not sure I want to read the next book right away. We’ll see.

This book was so problematic. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. I hope the last two are better!

DNF at 66%, I really didn’t want to DNF but it just became soooo repetitive and didn’t have the same feeling as book 1. The main characters I liked and I defo liked War but the plot was just too boring and not much at all happening for over half the book.
