Will read at outreach visits as soon as I stop weeping from the touching message.

Love it. A book about one person changing the world a step at a time. So sweet. I want more Justin Roberts’ songs turned into books! Great idea.

Can't get behind rhyming that doesn't scan properly, especially not for a moral-laden story like this.

Sally is the smallest girl in the smallest grade, and nobody ever pays attention to her. But Sally pays attention to everything, like kites getting stuck in trees and kids getting picked on. One day, she has had enough and raises her voice, and everyone else follows suit. This is a great story about speaking up against injustice and a reinforcer that even one person can make a difference.

Sally McCabe notices all the little and big injustices that happens in the world, especially among her classmates. She's small and goes unnoticed by everyone until one day she has had enough and implores her peers to treat each other better. And one by one, it turns out that other children are fed up with the bullying as well. This brief story reminds us of the power of one. I liked the story and the message, of course, but what elevated it for me was Robinson's art. I'm such a fan of him and his art which adds that extra layer of innocence and timelessness. Due to the simple artwork and the always necessary message to treat each other kindly, it seems like this book has been and will be around for ever.

Sally is the smallest kid in the smallest grade, but she is very observant. She seems the small acts of meanness and sadness in the world. Until one day she decides enough. She calls others to be kinder. Small actions can have big ripples.
Darling art. Kind lesson.

What a beautiful story!

I enjoyed the illustrations by Robinson. I also enjoyed the message of the book. I was definitely a smaller than average child who didn't feel like I much of a voice, and I enjoyed relating to her. I loved learning about "the smallest girl" in the book, and I enjoyed how she observed the world. The book is definitely a lovely read for anyone who wants a little help to show how anyone can make a difference.
