The voice acting was superb. The stories are amusing satire although it is more on the dark comedy side of the fence. Jeeves always the calm intelligent idea-maker that saves the self-centred, clueless and over-confident Wooster and his friends. Enjoyable comedy skits.

Kinda samey, repetitious plots, but that doesn't matter at all because the writing is so good. Funny and daft and brilliant. Early stories, with Jeeves & Wooster bouncing around London, NY, Paris, and the country

A few too many similar stories in this one of friends with aunts and relationship issues. But still very funny, and very well written.

"I’m not absolutely certain of my facts, but I rather fancy it’s Shakespeare – or, if not, some equally brainy bird – who says that it’s always just when a fellow is feeling particularly braced with things in general that Fate sneakes up behind him with a bit of lead piping."

Cheerful and amusing as always, though not as laugh out loud funny. Probably because this volume includes some of Wodehouse's earliest stories from [b:My Man Jeeves|200572|My Man Jeeves (Jeeves, #1)|P.G. Wodehouse|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1348915558s/200572.jpg|463407] rewritten to include Bertie Wooster instead of the early iteration of the character, Reggie Pepper. Which is why, despite Goodreads' series numbering, I still think [b:The Inimitable Jeeves|9515964|The Inimitable Jeeves (Jeeves, #2)|P.G. Wodehouse|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1328038854s/9515964.jpg|2817794] is the best one to start with. Carry On, Jeeves jumps around in the timeline because of this but we do get the very funny and satisfying return of characters like Bingo Little and Sir Glossop.

Another one I shouldn’t be logging. They’re the same stories as in the 1989 omnibus, so I just skimmed it.
That last story from Jeeves’s perspective is such a stand-out, I hope we get more of that at some point.

Wodehouse continues to be one of the very few authors who makes me involuntarily laugh out loud while reading!
