I've had a copy of this book for awhile and I honestly don't know why I waited so long to read it - I loved the Sweet Potato Queens' Book Of Love - this book is, I'm pretty sure, the only fictional SPQ book but it's just as fabulous. The story is everything that good "chick lit" should be and it's got everything and lots of it. So funny, so relateable - I highly recommend it!

More humor from Jill Conner Browne, THE Boss Queen. She's a talented humorist, and this is a fun read.

Beach read material for sure. Light, fluffy and fun, but I have actually enjoyed some of the other books more.

Ok I literally read this book in three hours! A no brainer and definitly not as good as her other books!

Need something light after cholera! So far ( I am already 100 pages in after 1 hour) not as funny as her other books but what I need right now!

I have heard several good things about the Sweet Potato Queen books...this is her first fictional novel...would still like to read the non-fiction ones

Andrea's review: feels like "ya ya sisterhood" without any drama, with a dash of "traveling pants" thrown in. cute.
