I enjoyed this bunches. Plenty of tension and swoon-worthy moments to keep you engaged ! My only feedback is it felt like it went on longer than it needed to, so some of it just kind of felt like filler. But overall, enjoyed and recommend !!

I think ww/bm is not for me.

I enjoyed Mile High a lot but my main critique was that Xanders didn’t feel like a black character. I don’t have an issue with writers writing characters that aren’t their race but I think some extra thought has to go into it. This one, was similar but my real issue was Indy.

I liked Indy in the first book, but this book…I thought it was weird that she texted Stevie every day to tell her how much she wanted to fuck Stevie’s brother and I didn’t like how her main thoughts about Ryan were how hot he was and how much she wanted to have sex with him. Literally, when we were in his POV he didn’t harp on how beautiful she was all the time, he commented on her character and sense of humor. She did not do that for the part of the story I made it through.

Seeing as this is an interracial romance, having the white woman focus only on the black guy’s looks and sexual prowess…felt weird. I’m gonna read the other books in this series but yeah…this one wasn’t for me. Which sucks cuz I really did like both characters in the first book.
