I really, really enjoyed the story but really, really disliked a lot of the characters (including Henry). Also, I can't be the only one who was suuuuper weirded out by some of Clare and Henry's interactions when he was an adult and she was still a minor.

A little unnecessarily sexy for my taste.

There is no way that I can adequately describe all that goes in this novel...all the twists and turns. I will say that The Time Traveler's Wife certainly grabbed me, it gripped me and would not let me go until I read my way through the last page. There was much emotion.

Time travel - was it believable? Yes, I thought so. Although, I must admit, if I thought about it too hard my mind would start to rebel. Also, I must admit, I love time travel stuff so as long as it is not too hokey...I am there, willing and ready to read.

The events - in the beginning the events were a bit difficult for me to keep track of because Henry would be located in one time-travel period and then he would leap to another time-travel period. His traveling did not necessarily happen in chronological order. It, however, did not take long for me to get my bearings and once I did, the book timeline made sense. For me it flowed.

I liked many of the scenes but I must admit...the whole naked thing upon entry into a period was a bit umm...unsettling. Seriously, can you imagine being dumped into a time you do not live in naked!?!

This book was, above all, a tragic love story. It is now one of my favorites and I was so sad to see it end... Also, if you love this book, do yourself a favor and do not watch the movie. It was absolutely awful -- left out most of the main characters from the book, and left me thanking God I read the book first.

This book is beautiful. An insight to the human experience in a profound, delightful and tortured way.
