I went into this book knowing exactly what it was... A mind-blowing sci-fi / suspense / love story mash up (it was right there on the cover, thank you Entertainment Weekly!) and as such I loved it.
Blake Crouch does a wonderful job keeping the reader turning the pages. His short paragraphs (sometimes just a sentence or word) make the reader feel the pace that he has set. Everytime the reader thinks they've come to the "ah-ha!" moment, Crouch hits them with a "but wait there's more!" none of which seem trite or unnecessary.
Truly a fantastic read.

The first 2 to thirds of this thriller are bare bones, but the author makes up for it in the last third. If you’re looking for an easy going thriller this is it.
