This was a cute holiday story of 2 BFFs who end up falling in love or realizing they already were.
Clara starts a new job, and her new eccentric boss says something that leads her to think she only hires lgbt people. Evan (short for Evangeline) is her BFF and is gay. Evan's ex is hosting the staff holiday party at her house. So Evan makes a proposal to Clara that could benefit both of them. Pretend girlfriends.
It's a nice, quick read and there is no 3rd act breakup.
4-stars all around.

Read this in between other books for a 1 day quick read. If you’re looking for a very fast, friends-to-lovers with some spice around the holiday season, then this novella would be perfect!

This one is a blur for me. I listened to it overnight in the CLT airport, and I have a hard time truly remembering it, but I remember the multiple POV's and that I was sometimes annoyed by the characters, but ultimately didn't mind the mess too much.

Now this is a good book but you cant take it too seriously. Very u-haul and fast love but still good.
Its a second chance, fake dating, bi-awakening story that made me giggle. I think they are cute with each other and you can see some of the ways they complement each other. It couldve used a bit more depth but once again its only 160 pages.
It also has a lot of neurodivergent representation which I found very relatable, being neurodivergent myself. I think it was written well.
