This is a short story with a powerful message. I'd like to know more behind her death/murder. I'll have to dig deeper into the Murdered & Missing Indigenous Women.

Emotional and raw, but I found this to be a bit too short. I liked the art style but found the storytelling confusing at times. A powerful story that needs to be shared and it is shocking to know this is being censored in schools.

I wish I could say I had heard of this story about an Indigenous women from Manitoba who was kidnapped, raped, and murdered in The Pas, but I hadn't until now. Not because it is a good story--it isn't-- but because she is one of many Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and her case stands as an example of what happens when white men get away with things as others stand by and do nothing. This graphic novel was well done and made me want to learn more. It was a bit hard to read digitally because of the small text, but would probably be fine in print.
