Everyone dies, all the work are strippers, or prostitutes and are treated with contempt. Nothing really makes sense. But it's a short read?!

Not a lot to say about this one, sometimes you just want to read something somewhat mindless. This is an at times funny, dirty crime novel. It borders on noir, but not quite. Maybe its just not gritty enough for me to call it that, or maybe I just can't classify a novel with a modern day setting as noir.

This was a very strange read. The first part of the book was devoid of any action and was mainly Charlie driving around to different places. Bit of action in the second part, but by the end I thought what was the point in all of that? It didn't hold my attention well and numerous times I found my mind wandering.
