Call Me Doctor by Shane Neilson

I cried. I wasn't expecting the dramatic turn for mental illness at the end. Neilson recommends not starting medical school until at least 25, having life (and death) experience, and truly knowing yourself. You never want to be just "doctor", you must have a selfhood outside of work.
