I enjoyed this though not as much as the first one. The beginning was interesting but it became too big too fast. It became something that made absolutely no sense for 12-year-olds to handle. I totally can suspend my disbelief for a certain level but this book surpassed even my ability. I also felt that there was a lot of moral idea shoe horned into the friends dialogue. It felt less genuine. It also almost felt repetitive despite the fact that it was not the same plot at all. I got significantly more bored half way through and felt a little deja vu.
