I found this to be slow moving with bursts of hot scenes. I think my lack of interest in vampires, at this time, is the main reason I didn't love this one. I think if I would have read it five years ago this review might be different.

WHAT I LIKED
-------------
- The three main characters develop a healthy polyamorous relationship (for erotic fiction).
- There's a real plot, it's not just a setup for sexual opportunities.
- The female lead's ability to adjust physiology was a really intriguing power I haven't seen before.
- The sex scenes are sexy.
- The author actually uses the word vagina, which was a breath of fresh air for me. Because that's what it is folks, a vagina.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE
-----------------
- The mystery of the plot felt anti-climactic to me; it went a direction too many paranormal novels go.
- I enjoyed the loving relationship developing between the three characters for the first half of the book, but then things started to feel a little too dramatic for my tastes.
- The thing where the female lead's hair grows longer with the more satisfying sex she has is just plain weird.

This book is decent erotic fiction, especially if you're interested in some polyamory and bisexual male relationships.

I am an official Tracy Cooper-Posey fan and this book made me proud. Blood Knot is a paranormal bisexual menage romance among Winter, Sebastian, and Nathanial. Winter is a healer that hides her supernatural abilities. She makes her living using her powers to steal and pairs up with a vampire, Sebastian to pull off high dollar heists. Nathanial is Sebastian's former lover and while he is looking for Nathanial he finds Winter. This book immediately goes into sizzling hot romance between Nathanial and Winter. They joined the mile high club and several other clubs with their spicy hot interludes as they search for Sebastian.

I loved the twists and turns of the storyline. Winter and Nathanial searching all over for Sebastian. Then there was tension among all three because there was uncertainty over whether Nathanial could be trusted. Nathanial also wanted them to pull off another high risk theft that had the potential to impact the lives of all vampires. This book had suspense, adventure, and lots of hot lovemaking. I was totally vested in the characters. The author did a great job of keeping up with the highs and lows of the emotions of all characters. There was never a time when you couldn't connect the dots to understand why the individual did something. Even though this was the first book in the series it wasn't written with a cliffhanger at the end (which I hate). So even though you aren't compelled to read the next novel to find out how resolution is achieved you really want to follow the storyline. This one is another winner and I will definitely be reading the other 2 books in the series.

DNF around 45%. The storyline was oddly disjointed and the steam felt mechanical.

While the romance part of the story was fairly predictable - and well-written! - I REALLY enjoyed the part of the story focused on the item that Nial hires Winter and Sebastian to steal. With opposing factions and their agendas, the danger is more than the reader first realizes and the action is just as captivating to read as the romance part of the plot! Well done!

I like this series a lot and I have read more of it than what shows up on my shelves. Don't know what happened to them. I may have never put them on my shelves or one of the MANY GR Blips has removed them.
This is basically a MMF story and PNR. It's a fun read with lots of twist and turns. The characters and the world is very interesting.
There are problems with the story. It has/had a couple of jumpy parts that caused a bit of confusion and if I remember correctly, some editing errors.
However, I remember being Very intrigued by the story and being fully invested in continuing it.
Each story in this series ends on a cliffhanger of sorts. So really it's more of a serial type series.

The steamy scenes are Very steamy and erotic.
The author is a very good story teller and this series actually got me to follow her works.
I plan on reading more of hers in the future. But do be aware that not ALL of her books have steamy scenes. This one does and I enjoyed it.

My Rating: 4.5
Having the ability to heal yourself and others of any biological damage can be a great thing until you use it on someone who is a vampire. Winter and Sebastian are thieves, working together for over two years they both have secrets that they've kept from each other. Sebastian was stabbed during a job the two were working, so of course Winter does the only thing she can, she heals him, but doing that connected them to each other forever. Now she needs his blood and he needs her healing aura. Not only have they kept these two big secrets from each other they are both in love with each other but neither are willing to admit it.
Nathanial, Sebastian's ex- lover, shows up at Winter's house looking for Sebastian, because they had agreed to meet but Sebastian never showed up. Nathanial, who goes by Nial now, is worried enough to track him down and he uses Winter to do it. Winter was warned about Nial through Sebastian but he turns out to be a better person than Sebastian led her to believe. Working together they grow closer than either thought they would, so when they do find Sebastian he is just as shocked as they are. Nial, even though he was looking for Sebastian for personal reasons he also needs him for a job. Working together, the three of them will do anything and everything to be together and to stay together.
I love this author, I really get all giddy when she emails me with book review requests. I understand that M/M is not everyone's cup of tea but if you ever wanted to dip a toe in the water to try out a M/M book, I highly recommend starting with any of her series.

Interesting concept, but failed to deliver. Not only when it comes to plot and world-building, but the writing itself needs a lot of work as well. I don't think I've ever read a published book with so many "very" still in it. It was actually ridiculous.

There were also a lot of odd statements included in the book. Such things as being feminine mean being small and weak, and you can't really be feminine and businesslike at the same time, and so on. Just weird things to include in a book that tries so hard to make the woman lead out to be this badass, intelligent character.

Because the book tries reaaaaaal hard to make you think the main characters are smart, mysterious, and the best at what they're doing. But it falls flat not only because it's so painfully obvious what the author is trying to do but can't really seem to manage it, but also because the execution is just...so poor. If you're going to write characters that lie for a living, at least look up how to lie. Sharing unnecessary details that no one asked for? That's a sure-fire way to give you away as a liar. If you can't bother with the research, at least spend an evening looking at Ocean's Eleven or something. At least that'll give you a better inclination about how to lie than whatever this book tried to do.

The pacing was also off. It started fast and kicked off the plot well enough, and then as soon as they started having sex, it came to a grinding halt until the author remembered that it was time to end the book. It was flimsy at best and this is supposed to be a setup for a series. And I still can't tell you honestly what this series is about, because so much time was wasted on their "relationship" and skipped over a lot of the important build-up that would make you interested in the continuation.

All in all, an interesting concept, but flawed execution.

2.5 stars at best

If you are expecting a well written, balanced relationship between 3 characters, then you should probably read something else. While the premise of the book was promising, it failed to deliver. Winter is a cool character but the insta love between her and Neil that seemed to have eclipsed his 250 years relationship with Sebastian or Winters attraction to Sebastian was really annoying. Winter was full over heels in love with Neil in less than 5 days. He essentially considered her his wife from almost day one.

I don't think it is is fair to label the book as M/M when there is not a single kiss between two men up until 70% into the book and straight sex is almost on every page.

Lots of typos and mistakes.

I admit, I am curious to read other works by this author to see if there is any improvement in style/plot, but it is not high on my list.
