Tipico de franceses en los 6o, escribiendo policiales de atrofia sexual donde los perros hablan y los personajes se mueven de protagonismo como si nada. No estuvo mal.

I think the best way to quickly describe this book would be: it is like a detective novel... but not really. Vian, posing as the American writter Sullivan, brings us an eccentric tale in California. The deconstruction of the all the common cliches and tropes from the thriller/detective novel are somewhat genius and hilarious. The light tone and the authors' strange composition hide some very pertinent critics about very actual problems: corruption, the ideal of beauty and how the ethics cannot keep up with advances of science.
The surrealistic elements make this book unique and it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea... you either love it or hate it.
