I read 'When it Happens' by the author and really enjoyed it. But for some reason, I had a negative relationship with this book. It felt too cliched, like someone I'd read a million times before. All in all, this was because that's what it was. I think that it was really just another irrelevant romance novel.

Lani's logic was messed up by the end of the book. I really did not understand why she was acting so out of character. I was annoyed every time she mentioned fate. Although I admit I should have seen that coming with the title and all. . .

It's fine if you aren't looking for anything special. So I recommend it for plain romance lovers.
2/5 stars.

I read this book because my 13 year old daughter read it an wanted me to. It wasn't a great book for me but I think it was perfect for someone my daughters age.

This was not exactly what I expected. A nice book but I felt like it had no main event… I liked but it kinda felt like the book wasn't finished. I can't really explain it.

Completely predictable to the point of being another annoying teen read. Girl likes boy, boy dates girls best friend, boy cheats on girls best friend with girl. Probably not the story you want to be romanticizing. I started reading it a long time ago and put it down because I couldn't handle how absurd the plot was, finished it because I have a hard time leaving books unfinished. Not worth reading again.
