Oh my! This was an intense volume for sure! First the mystery of what was going on at the inns and then that phone call to Soma’s father! I hope I don’t have to wait long for Vol. 32!

I really enjoyed the conclusion of the Azami Administration arc of this series, so I’m honestly really disappointed with the direction it’s taking. It should have just packed it in when the Yukihara’s group won the team Shokugeki - it would have ended the series on such a high note.
Instead, the story is being dragged out to introduce this new arc involving an underground culinary world where chefs cater to gangs and criminals. I honestly didn’t care for it at all. Also, the way Jouichiro is thrown away so easily when he’s been built up to be the end-all-be-all of chefs was ridiculous (even for this series).
I’m going to continue because I know the series is complete at 36 volumes, but I don’t expect to enjoy this new arc or the direction of the series overall.

Well, as I continue reading this manga, I can feel that it is the time for this manga comes to an end. The story begins to derail, and it's getting feeble. Please end this manga before it brings more damage to the story. It was a great cooking manga at the beginning. I used to love this manga until the previous volume. It's showing its age, and sadly, it's not ageing well.
