Favourite of the series!! I cried a lot...
Holly Smale has created such an amazing and real variety of characters that I was able to grow up with and I thank her for that. This series starts off as just a fun teen series but evolved in to so much more than that. I will miss seeing these characters grow and go on new adventures but will never stop rereading about their old ones.

I received a copy of this via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

The sixth and final book in the Geek Girl series, this is the perfect ending to Harriet's story.

We have followed her from the awkward Geek who spends all day annoying people with facts to, well, the awkward Geek who spends all day annoying people with facts who is also now a top model. She has however, matured over the course of the series,

As ever there are plenty of hilarious moments, and Holly has managed to fit in many of the characters from previous books as a farewell. None of them feel forced either, as is often the case.

The ending is beautifully written, and even though I figured out what was going to happen, it didn't make it any less moving (tissues at the ready).

A wonderful series comes to an end, and now I can't wait to see what Holly Smale does next.

Meh. I finished this series, and it's great for background listening while working and cleaning, but the ending is INCREDIBLY unsatisfying.

I loved this series finale to Geek Girl. Forever Geek tied up all the elements of the series perfectly; whilst I will miss Harriet, her future has been outlined and thus I am satisfied.
Smale has written characters in this series whom we can all relate to whether you are 12, 21 or 31 like me.
If you haven't read the series, get started!

A beautiful ending to an inspiring series. Harriet Manners is a wonderful character that I have grown to love. I read every book in a few days as I couldn't put them down. I love these books and strongly recommend them to anyone (especially young teens).

I received an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher via NetGalley. This in no way impacted on my view.

The Geek Girl series is one of my all time favourite UKYA book series, and even though I was sad that the finale was soon to be published, I was overjoyed at the chance to read an early copy, and dove straight right in.

In the final instalment, we see Harriet trying to balance her new boyfriend, Jasper, with her home life, as well as her fledging modelling career, which is neigh on going down the pan. When her final chance to succeed leads to a trip down-under, complete with best friend Nat, and wacky grandma, Bunty, she was sure there'd be no chance she'd run into her ex-boyfriend, Lion Face himself, Nick, because, well, Australia is a really big country. Isn't it? Obviously, that didn't happen, but Harriet has other things to deal with, especially when she believes someone close to them both is sick, and she can't do anything about it.

Let me tell you, I honestly think this was my favourite book out of the entire series. Harriet has stolen a part of my heart, and I don't think I'll ever me able to get it back. We've seen her develop, and grow, into the best person ever, someone who hasn't lost her ow wackiness and originality, and her geekiness. I truly wish I either was her, or knew someone like her when I grew up. Everything about her is so commendable, and I really believe this series is perfect for everyone, no matter gender or age. We should all read this series.

I think most people know who my favourite love interest for Harriet was, though she is a strong independent woman who don't need no man. I was really happy with this series, and how much of the time Harriet realised she was perfect on her own, and needed to understand herself, before she was truly ready for someone else. That being said, there were a lot of cute moments in the book in which I couldn't keep a smile off my face because of how shippy it was.

I honestly could not have asked for a better ending to this series. Small has completed the series, full circle, and Harriet is the best person she can be. Nothing has been left unanswered that needed solving, and I have absolutely no complaints about anything in this series. I'm sad that this is the end of Geek Girl but look forward to more from the author in the future. If you, or someone close to yo hasn't read this series yet, what are you playing at?! Get on it right away!

It's a bit hard for me to find words for a review for this, the final book in the Geek Girl series, as I spent a fair bit of time crying just now (I cry easily, depending on my mood, so this isn't necessarily a spoiler), but .. anyway, it's a good end to a series I've enjoyed far more than I perhaps should have, seeing as I'm not really in the target group, being a couple of decades too old.

But I've been .. well, not a Harriet, but young, and awkward, and bullied, so I suppose there's that.

Anyway. I don't really want to go into spoilery details in this review so I'll just say that it's a good book. Perhaps about 75% of it was relatively lightweight (if with an ever-increasing sense of dread over Harriet very, very clearly having misinterpreted something painfully obvious), but the last quarter certainly wasn't. And I liked the way it ties up all the loose endings and provides conclusions in a way that you know that this is it for one stage, one part of these characters' lives, but that they're all embarking on the next stages of their life.

* ARC of this book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley in return for an honest review. Thanks!
