It’s been quite awhile since a book has gripped me like this. A lot of themes around stories, reading and just loving literature. Travis Baldree’s writing flows so smoothly and his descriptions are always amazing, particularly the food. I love the LGBTQIA relationship so seamlessly woven into the story and the sense of adventure Baldree creates so effortlessly. He has such a way with loveable characters, villains that get their comeuppance, and bittersweet messaging. Truly fantastic piece of fiction, I can’t decide which one is my favourite between this and Legends & Lattes. Well… Guess I just have to reread the other one to decide. What a shame
