Decent, some flair, but...

The twist at the end kind of wrecked the rest for me. It was an enjoyable read, but a plethora of typos, the second twist, and the somewhat nasty protagonist were not to my taste. However, plenty of style and detailed descriptions make for a luscious read. Pacing was brilliant, even rushed, and some of the cultural stuff is questionable, but I still had a good time reading it. Wish the sex workers had a bit more say in their own fates, too. But honestly, it was fine.
