My heart… I need a few days to recover from this book..
Excellent story! The author managed to tell a story about love, about losing your body/soul to a deadly and horrifying disease, and in the same breath giving you hope only to have that hope ripped out of your heart in the next second.
This story takes place after a war and humans have to wear masks/body suits in order not to breathe in the now deadly air. Because if you do, you will catch The Rot. Either the body rot or the soul rot. Either way, you will die. Slowly and painfully. This story is about Lacey and Drake. 2 teenagers that could not be any different. One lives in an orphanage and the other comes from money. Their lives are about to get entangled and their lives are about to change forever.
I loved absolutely everything about this book.
