I didn't really have any expectations going into this book, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I ended up loving this book! This was such a cute and quick read and I loved the premise of this story. I also really loved the tone of this book with how comical and witty the narrator was, along with how witty and sassy both of our main characters were. The fairytale setting was very whimsical and I loved how many fairytales and fairytale elements where woven into this story.

This was the perfect quick and fun read as a little palette cleanser and cheer up in between heavier reads.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was such a breath of fresh air!! It reads like a fairy tale with more modern language. My only complaint is that it didn’t last longer!
