It's the second book in the Swindle series. I thought it was better than the first because it was about animals instead of a baseball card. It also had a good ending.

This was a fun romp of a book. I appreciated that I didn't have to have read the first book to enjoy this one, but it did make me want to go back and read the first one. I liked the way each kid had a different talent that added something to the group and the way they're reminded at the end that some plans need adults and that adults aren't the enemy (well, trusted adults like parents, etc.).

These books were recommended by my 10 year old. I had hoped in the second book, the kids could put their talents to use in a scheme that was less illegal and more believable, but that is not the case. From what my son tells me, they continue this trend throughout the series. It's just too much for me. I'll leave him to it, but I'll be watching him closely for criminal tendencies...

This was a really cute read! Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first, but it was still quite fun getting back into this world. Ben was still my favorite; I love his story and his personality. The animals were certainly a fun addition, as well. I look forward to reading the next in the series!
