Unnecessary , but I enjoyed the further exploration of the characters. Max and Gideon are the best things about this series so far.

This was a short story at that was at the end of the Atlas Paradox audiobook that I listened to. There are scenes where Libby, Gideon and Nico are playing a game in their apartment and it’s pretty funny and cute. Their back and forth and getting on each other’s nerves is good and when they get into a food fight… haha. Also there’s hints of Gideon and Nico relationship. There’s also a scene of Callum with his family, Parisa has an outing with a fling who can’t help but love her, Reina being mysterious as always when someone is trying to reach her, and Tristan with his fiance who appears to have cheated on him? It was nice to have a sort of slice of life from them without the weight of the larger plot. And I think this takes place prior to the events of the first book.
