It is full of prejudices and at times violent, it is almost always fatalist; and is too far from teaching any real life lessons; but still it retains something quite beautiful in itself.

Entertaining in the way that I loved the Yellow Ribbon as a kid (i.e. fantastically morbid). A surprising amount of stories are repetitive and a handful are explicitly anti-Semitic or racist towards Black people.
