Girl at Christmas by Rhoda Baxter

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Tammy is normally at her happiest at Christmas when she has the flat to decorate and those perfect days between Christmas and New Year to relax. But when her long term partner dumps her, with no real explanation, her Christmas starts to look very bleak.

Lawrence usually spends Christmas watching DVDs and catching up on his paperwork. At thirty one, he’s already stuck in a rut.

Girl at Christmas is the final book in the Smart Girls series and it has been a great pleasure to enjoy all 4 of these lovely books. This is such a wonderful, gentle Christmas story about two loveable characters. As with the previous books in the series, this could easily be read as a stand-alone.

To say that this is a really short novella, I enjoyed the way that the story has been developed and that it doesn't feel too rushed. If you are unsure about reading any of the series, then this short insight is probably the one to start with.

What a ride. I really enjoyed being able to read and review this series. I liked being able to follow all the characters along to see where they all went.

Girl at Christmas is a short story about Tammy, new character and Lawrence who is Walters best friend, that's Olivias landlord.

I really enjoyed this one, even as a shirt story, you got plenty of details and enough going on. This would make a brilliant full book but it was still good as it was.

All the books I guess could be read alone as they do slightly explain who everyone is in the books but obviously if you like me read them all in order and in the series you will understand how everyone connects better.

I liked each book for all different reasons. I think my favourite out of them is Girl Having a Ball closely followed by Girl at Christmas.

Extremely lovely! There's something about Christmas stories that gets you about how the festive season brings out something good for you. And definitely that happened for both Tammy and Lawrence. Girl at Christmas is brilliantly written and it surely gives butterflies in our stomach a treat!
