Great pace, characters, plot, and editing. Hard to believe it's a debut novel...I read through in just two sittings and smiled the entire time.

I picked this novel up after meeting the author in person at a local writers meetup. Hot Scheming Mess is a super-fun, quick read. Madison and her family are charming and the relationships play out in a manner that felt very genuine. I highly recommend this for fans of the early Stephanie Plum novels as well as those who just like a light, well-paced story that will keep you guessing.
