I read this book because I know the author, and was intrigued by the idea. I'm having trouble getting a sense of what I think of it, however, (which is why I'm not going to give it a rating here,) because I feel like this is only the beginning of a much longer story, and I want to read the rest of it before deciding what I think. There are definitely some intriguing - and dark - things going on.
