La Revanche des bibliothécaires c'est un recueil de petites BD percutantes et très drôles sur le monde du livre, passant de l'auteur au bibliothécaire, jusqu'à l'éditeur et évidemment le lecteur. Tom Gauld nous fait nous sentir cultivé en quelque jeu de mots ou références que j'ai énormément apprécié.

Le seul petit bémol, c'est le côté répétitif des références à la COVID qui ont déjà un arrière-gout de dépassé.

Je le conseille à tout amateur de livre !

This librarian is vengeful that there wasn’t much about libraries or librarians at all…jk, but some strips went over my head, so I don’t think I’ve read enough classic literature to get them all. Some elicited a decent “hah” or “hah!,” and Gauld is definitely creative. I think writers would appreciate this book of cartoons more, and I’ll be recommending it to my dry-humored writer friend!
