4/5 Stars (%77/100)
If not for the ending, this would be 5 stars easily (I'll get to that in a bit). There are 3 major arcs in this volume and I believe this is the longest volume ever. The first arc is the World Tournament arc and I really liked the characters and fights in this arc. Martial arts came back and some people were using them in combination with Borrowed Power. Mori Hui character was enough for me to give this 5 stars. Though it was really interesting the world tournament does not last long. The "God" aspect of this series becomes even more important in this volume. Ritual Arc is the one where all the fights take place. The gods were super interesting in my opinion. I especially liked Odin from the start (as a fan of Norse mythology) and he became even more interesting. The design and characteristics of those gods were great. The fights were on planet-busting level (Dragon Ball Z). The next and final arc in this volume is actually what made me dislike the volume. I liked the twist with R and I find him really interesting as a character. However, there is another twist at the end which I really disliked. It felt like the author wanted to continue the series and tried to find something to make it interesting. If the series ended with this volume, I would not have any problems. I don't want to get into any more details because I want you to experience it yourself. In short, it was a good volume in general but there are some serious problems with the last arc and the ending.
