I thought this was a very cute book, and very well-written. I love the idea of Ruby being highly intellectual and a secret agent.

In the beginning of the book, we get to know a bit more about Ruby, her life and possibly how she was chosen for the job she now does. She is not your average fifteen year old, and that shows in so many ways. Better yet, she's really good at what she does.

I loved the pace of this book. It was slow enough to really pull in young readers, with its detailed adventures and mishaps, but still has loads of fast-paced moments for Ruby to fly through. I think those fast-paced moments really give the book a feel of and action story, and throw you headfirst into Ruby's life.

It was easy to get hooked on Ruby's story, and really struggle to put the book down. I was always wondering what would happen next, how she was going to get out of a situation and just how she'd end up on top this time.

Overall, I really think this is a great book for young readers. Ruby is strong, has a great personality and believes in herself. The book is imaginative and adventurous, as well as having some good lessons in it. Best of all, it really is a lot of fun to read, and I can imagine lots of young readers really enjoying this book.

This time Ruby's got to catch a thief that isn't there. Within this story Ruby no longer fears anything but when you feel no fear you think your invincible and is anyone really invincible. Climbing high rise buildings, walking tight ropes and learning parkour what more do you want to read about as a young girl. I remember loving this novel for that particular reason. This time Ruby has to figure how how this thief links in with some of the villains we've come to learn about in the other novels. Out of all of the Ruby Redford novels even though I do love it I think it is my least favourite as again the feeling of building up to something is evident within this novel.

Another childhood reread! A clever and adventurous narrative, which was a little scary at times even as an adult!

I've read this book so many times and it still seems to get better every time. The mystery is really compelling, the characters are all really likeable and distinctive, and Ruby's character arc is very well done and makes a lot of sense for what she's gone through.

Ruby Redfort may look like an average teen, but is actually a secret agent at Spectrum. After encountering death and surviving it so many times, she has become a daredevil with no fears at all. She is using her new parkour skills, taking crazy risks and putting her life into danger, to find an invisible thief. But her recklessness can't last much longer if she goes on like this.

I love the theme of this book. We think its stupid to be scared, but having no fear is dangerous. The clues in this book lead from one to another like the others, but this one is extra special because of the extents Ruby goes to, for understanding them. The ending left me shocked. I never expected what happened. LB, Hitch, Blacker, Froghorn, all of them were awesome. They all play a big part in getting Ruby back to her senses. The codes grab your attention and there is information about coding at the end if you are interested. The ghost vibes weren't that impressive and I think that could have been batter in the start. The reference to old movies was different, but that's all I can say about it. All the actors and movies threw me off, but otherwise, I couldn't put this book down.
