My gripe with most cozy mysteries is that they lean more on the cozy side and mysteries aren’t very good. In this book I liked both the cozy setting and the mystery as well.
There was a part where I thought some things got repetitive but overall a fun fast read

This book was just kind of...there.  There were a lot of conversations and bland British society mentions, but nothing really interesting happened.  And that's with someone getting their throat slit in a garden.

It wasn't a bad read, just not really my cup of tea.

A good, fun cozy mystery. Easy to read and enjoy. Set in the same England as the early Downton Abby's. Lots to enjoy here.

It was okay. The mystery was a little more engaging than the romance. But minus points for the cover. Why is it a brown man dropping poison into a white lady’s cup??? Who approved this
