strangely dense little book about dying
...like meditating, sometimes my mind would wander and i would have to gently direct it back to the task at hand. glad i read it, although it was quite depressing.

Oddly, nothing at all like the Sondheim musical. There are a few great numbers, like "Crawling on the Floor" and the dance hit "Blck Basalt (Temptation Remix), but nothing as finger-popping as his old "The Show Can't Go On, The Show Must Go On."

I can't say that Beckett is my absolute favorite to read, as it requires a LOT of thinking, but I really am fascinated by his work. In Company Beckett examines the closed space as a man lies on his back and and contemplates consciousness and the self. An existential crisis condensed into a novella!
