“It weighed on me and it was sometimes a pain in the ass, but the payoff could be big, too. So big it felt like gazing up into the sky. Or like looking out an airplane window at the ocean, with clouds shining above it.

the beginning build up was a bit slow, but i was enamored with it once i got into it. i really need to get a physical copy of this eventually and read it again once i’ve forgotten a bit. looking forward to reading more books by this author.
