A great, accessible book about feminism for teens. Would have loved to read this 10 years ago when it was published, but was also interesting reading it in 2020 knowing how much has changed, both for better and worse. When this was written, gay marriage wasn’t yet legal in Australia, and Obama was just beginning his presidency in the US. Anyway while I might not agree with Maguire’s feminism 100%, I still think this is an important book, esp for teenz.
