Markets itself as exactly what it is. A must-have for flash writers and writers in general!

This wasn't a particularly quickly paced book, which is strange for a Flash Fiction book.

Additionally, the first few types of Short Shorts had example fiction provided, but some later types didn't. The early examples also had some history and further reading for each subgenre, and later types didn't, which for myself either with or without the context would have been fine but the inconsistency was annoying.

It was also an oddly organized book that kept flipping back and forth between outlining types of fiction and giving writing advice for making your own, instead of separating them into separate sections like the introduction of the book claimed it did.

This is a helpful little guide to writing short fiction. I probably would have gotten more out of it if I had done the writing prompts it includes, but I liked all the examples of the different types of pieces.
