Fun little mystery, if a bit contrived. British country life circa 1908 is masterfully depicted. I could never fully buy into the story, but I enjoyed it just the same.

good fun! weird editing or punctuation and the likes, but nice little mystery and lovable characters did a great job of backstory building. i thought this might've been a sequel but it's the first of the series
