Rather disappointing frankly. The editor needed to cut a lot more and the story seemed mostly anticlimactic. The second quarter of the book droned on as did the ending.

Not bad I suppose for a debut but left me wanting.

I was sent a copy of this novel by the publisher Accent Press. All opinions are honest and my own.

What a gripping debut novel!

The thriller and romance genres are seamlessly meshed together throughout this story, to create a contemporary with a twist. Now I’m not usually a romance fan, but it’s blended so well with the twists and turns that I loved the overall story.

Anna is a very relatable character throughout this, which really gets you invested in her story and the nightmares that plague her.

This was a wonderfully put together novel, keeping my interest through to the end with a brilliant conclusion which I didn’t see coming but felt like exactly the right one (the trick which all thrillers strive to achieve).

I can’t wait to see what else Helen brings in the future.
