Another easy, fun read. However, these books are very heavy on dog show details, which may not be for everyone. I don't mind-- I love dogs and find it interesting. I like that the background/minor characters carry over from book to book, because this brings a sense of familiarity and I find I am more invested in the stories overall.

Serious popcorn reads. This one wasn't particularly compelling, but is light and breezy, and Melanie is fairly realistic (while being a completely implausible sleuth. Funny how that works).
