Ever & Joe were so damn stubborn throughout this whole book! But I could not stop, I was too invested.

It started out good but it was just eh. It felt very rushed, and have like no time to connect to the characters. And it was also pretty predictable very early on

My heart! This was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster!

After meeting the love of her life Everylynne is hit with a heartbreaking tragedy and now she feels that it follows her everywhere.
Moving to Salem and cutting ties with family and friends she is living day to day life as a zombie until Dominic bursts into her life.
Dominic is Everlynnes safe place, her safe everything but when he takes her to his family for Christmas everything changes. She comes face to face with her past and yet another tragedy.

I honestly went through every emotion with this book, I cried, laughed, screamed, smiled and cried a little more (ok maybe a lot more). This one really knows how to pull on your heartstrings.

Everlynne has been through it, losing someone so close to you I can’t even begin to imagine how painful that is and I can understand everything she done. I really rooted for her when she started to work through her trauma and it was so heartwarming to see her reconnect with her family and friend again. However, towards the end when she left Joe again I really wanted to shake her so yes I was pleased when she turned her ass around and went back to him because I probably would have screamed that at her. It was also lovely to see her get her courage and jump with both feet with Joe.

Evelynne’s character development was relatable throughout the whole book and I really think L.J. Shen did an amazing job of that, the whole story in fact was so well written and one that will stay with me for a long time.

Another terrible romance book for the shelves. Don’t read this. The ending was actually pretty gross. He proposes in a cemetery. jUsT sO qUiRkY.

Unlikeable characters that condone cheating and then whine when it happens to them. No plot. Subpar spice.
