I wished I was capable of DNF-ing for the first 55%. In fact, only my perverse inability to stop reading a book I've started even if I hate it kept me going in parts. And my husband can vouch for how many times I said "I hate her" throughout. I will say, even in the end I hated the fmc. I dont think this is a spoiler at all, but if you can't deal with the whole "I'm so awful, everyone hates me and I deserve it- but in reality that's bs" trope (is there a name for that? Cuz whiney victim b*tches is what I call it) probably best to skip this, cuz its essentially the entire theme of the book.
