Let's be honest, I don't think anyone is expecting prize-winning literature from this book. It was an amusing, light read, so long as you didn't read too much into a lot of what it was saying. I do feel that at least a little bit of research might have been nice (I would be intrigued to see what a medical professional thought of their diet suggestions), but I'm super sure it's not hot to frown at the details — I should just eat some more spinach and remember to drink more water.

Cute if you're just looking at losing weight, fluff if you've ever calorie counted.

Cute quick read. Lots of fun and fluffy. Good information but nothing I didn't already know yet presented in a fun style.

Fun quick read. Empowering and thought it was cool that they mentioned another book in the same genre: He's just not that into you.

Good to read as a reminder that we are all hot chicks

I LOVE this book. I LOVE this book and I intend to buy it. This book, somehow unintentionally, raised my self-esteem. I now have a totally different outlook on dating and myself. When i go out, I'm a hot chick and I live every day to the fullest. This book tells women that you should not hide your inner self. If your a flirt, be a flirt, smile, laugh. Be yourself. This book is really somethin' and I recommend it to everyone!

*just read it again in 2013. Still love the book.

This book certainly gave me food for thought... whilst I've never dieted (that is, i've never tried tbh... Its always been a one day thing, and as soon as I lapse I'm done with it) it had some good tips for good foods to eat and replace the crap with; wholesome good foods; even if there were obvious, they were put forward in a different way, such as porridge with nuts or yoghurt, its definitely made me tempted to try it again in winter. Also, different ways to cook eggs... useful for a novice cook like myself.

I can understand why some reviewers have not taken it very seriously; their "chick-lit" lingo felt kinda condescending at times, and at one point they couldn't decide whether they were writing in the style of Gillian Mckeith or Cook Yourself Thin. The former being a complete denial of foods that taste so good and yet are bad for us, but in a way that reminded you of having a face-off with a corporal; the latter being more relaxed, urging us girls not to punish ourselves and saying that we could indulge ourselves occasionally. Aside from that, it was a refreshing read and it did make me laugh, unlike a lot of literature in this dieting category which just makes me want to cry into my Ben & Jerry's, or throw the book against the wall. My advice when reading it, if you're getting to the stage of giving your wall a nasty surprise, would be to not take the book in its entirety too seriously; just be sensible and take note of the parts that make most sense to you and use it. Cos to be fair, a lot of the tips in there are easier to apply to your daily routine than you think.

Pure rubbish. Though this kept me laughing... mostly to keep from crying. These girls tell us at the beginning that they are not nutritionists and it only proves that anyone can write any genre of book regardless of talent or factual information. For anyone looking for healthy eating tips PLEASE do not read this. Try "You on a Diet" by Dr. Oz. Mehmet. At least he explains why your body needs certain nutrients to function and what sources they can be derived from.

If your wanting a quick, fun book (I use the term book loosely... teenage term paper maybe) then this is it. Try not to count they times they use the phrases "f-ton" and "hot" because it will only drive you insane.

Happy Readings as always my lovelies -- Kimmie
