Yes! The duckling gets a cookie!

The Pigeon returns to ask an excellent question. I would agree that we should all get cookies when we ask for them...politely. Audiences of all ages will appreciate Mo Willems' newest book in the Pigeon series.

Hilarious, as always, and a great culminating story for those who have "studied" all the pigeon books. He references the other titles.

The Duckling gets a cookie by Moe Wilis
Audio children's book about a pigeon and he's angry that the duckling gets a cookie by asking nicely.
Pigeon asks for a lot of things and he never gets them. The duckling explains how he can get a cookie himself.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

So nice to see pigeon again! This is really a silly book for older kids, K and up. Even more than the other Pigeon books, there are too many jokes dependant on outside knowledge, plus it helps a lot if you've read the other pigeon books. I had to stop halfway through with a group of 3-5 year olds, as they just weren't getting it.

Read to Trent 8-1-14

Read this as I was volunteering at the Scholastic Warehouse sale and kept on laughing out loud and drawing way too much attention to myself. I love Mo Willems and this book does not disappoint.
