I read Sapiens a few years ago and i loved it. My son expressed an interest in it as well, but he was only 10 at the time so i bought the graphic volumes for him for Christmas a few years ago. He has read both volume 1 and 2 several times now, but I have just finally gotten around to reading the first volume. While I didn't find the graphic version of Sapiens to be quite as enlightening as the original print version, I loved it nonetheless. The art is bright and helps to illustrate the ideas presented in the original. And I thought the way the book uses dialogue between Harari and his niece as well as other scientists, historians and anthropologists to explain the main concepts of this volume was fun and engaging. It presents Harari's ideas in an engaging and accessible format for all readers.

Super interesting. I got a lot out of it, but it was a bit wordy. I think it could've used some lengthening to truly get the points across to me. More pages, less words on a page, preferably.
