I may be a LITTLE bit bias with this review because I designed the cover BUT this was honestly an enjoyable read.
It's about a wild night following a teenage boy who is up to no good. There is a bunch of drug use, partying and fighting. I was a "good kid" throughout high school so I like reading stories about youngsters getting into trouble. The story is easy to read and an entertaining experience.
I recommend it to people who enjoy coming of age stories and the wildness of a teen boy's life.
There isn't exactly horror in this but there are some trigger warnings, message if you would like to know them.

Woolie is a story of teenage angst and the lengths some kids go to in order to escape reality. Even if it's just for the weekend.
This story follows a group of friends who are trying to see just how much trouble they can get in to before they're back at school on Monday.
It's a short story, but a wild ride with an amazing literary soundtrack. Loved the music references!
I found this story to be quite relatable at times. Growing up in a small town with very little to do on the weekends was a recipe for disaster at times.
I feel like Woolie really highlights Bird's ability to bend the rules of genre writing and just express his personality through his story telling.
Loved this one.
