This book is badly in need of an editor, among other things.

Somebody take away Poppet's thesaurus, please. This book was overflowing with awkwardly placed words that just didn't quite fit. Also, for a book set in Portland, Oregon, with American-born main characters, there were WAY too many British terms. Oregonians don't go to the loo or out for brekkers. The second half of this book was impossible to follow. It was disjointed and unclear. I see what she was going for, putting the reader in Cindy's head, but it just came across messy, like the author couldn't keep track of her own story. And after all that, I don't even need to mention the aggravating grammar. The story had potential, but the execution was sub-par.
